.070 FLUOROELASTOMER Q-RING CORD

This o-ring cord stock is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile with a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), catalogued under part number 0Q283070. It eliminates long lead times on large-diameter custom rings.

The material holds up against engine and transmission fluids, aggressive chemicals, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present.

Common environments for this compound include aerospace, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.
