.070 SILICONE O RING CORD 70 DURO

0286070 is a red Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock supplied with a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm). In service, this o-ring cord stock eliminates long lead times on large-diameter custom rings.

Expect good resistance to dry heat, extreme heat and cold, and ozone and UV exposure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Silicone offers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures and very good compression set resistance across its range. It should not be specified for service in abrasive dynamic service or steam above its rated range.
