Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, water, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for low compression set under sustained load and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. It is not the right choice where ozone and direct sunlight or strong acids are present.
