Klingersil C-4401 is specified for a calendered, compressed fiber structure bound with elastomer, excellent torque retention and low creep relaxation. It resists elevated flange loads, steam and hot water, and a broad range of process chemicals. It is not the right choice where service beyond the published pressure-temperature envelope or strong oxidizing acids in some grades are present.
