1/2 ALUM COMBINATION NIPPLE

3TCNA050 is an APG Aluminum Combination Nipple with a 1/2 inch nominal size. In service, this combination nipple joins a hose shank to a male NPT thread in one piece.

Aluminum is specified here for reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles and high strength-to-weight ratio that eases handling of large sizes. This material stands up to many petroleum products, weathering, and general atmospheric corrosion. It is not the right choice where strong acids and alkalis or prolonged salt water immersion are present.

Common environments for this compound include tank truck and bulk transfer, petroleum transfer, and construction and dewatering.
