1" NON-ASBESTOS GRAPHITE PACKING

The 11891000-10 is a Square Braided Non-Asbestos Packing Compression Packing built to a 1 inch square cross section. This compression packing is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. Source specification: 10 LB. Box - Approx. 22 FT.

Square Braided Non-Asbestos Packing is specified here for field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking and dependable service life when correctly adjusted. This material stands up to process media, elevated temperature and pressure, and shaft wear. It should not be specified for service in over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush.
