The 14631000-05 is a PTFE Impregnated Flax Packing Compression Packing built to a 1 inch square cross section. This compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. Source specification: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 9 FT.

As a material, PTFE Impregnated Flax Packing delivers non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and excellent dielectric properties. The material holds up against solvents, nearly all industrial chemicals, and oxidizing media. It is not the right choice where service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature are present.

It sees regular use in laboratory equipment, aggressive-media pipelines, and semiconductor fabrication.
