Expect good resistance to steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and strong acids and bases. That behavior comes from the compound itself: TFE Filament delivers one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and excellent dielectric properties. It is not the right choice where molten alkali metals or service requiring elastic recovery are present.
