APG stocks the 0283H103, a black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock supplied with a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm). An o-ring cord stock supports field repair of oversized or non-standard sealing grooves without a special tooling charge.

This material stands up to chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.
