0286S500 is a red Silicone 50 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock built to a cross section of 0.5 in (12.7 mm). In service, this o-ring cord stock supports field repair of oversized or non-standard sealing grooves without a special tooling charge.

Expect good resistance to weathering, ozone and UV exposure, and dry heat. Silicone is specified for very good compression set resistance across its range and excellent electrical insulating properties.
