As a material, Braided Flexible Graphite offers excellent thermal conductivity and fire resistance, no aging, hardening or embrittlement over time. Expect good resistance to most chemicals across the pH range, steam, and thermal shock. Exposure to highly oxidizing service above rated temperature or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.

Typical settings include refining, exhaust and flue gas, and steam and heat transfer systems.
