The 0283125 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock supplied with a cross section of 0.125 in (3.18 mm). This o-ring cord stock supports field repair of oversized or non-standard sealing grooves without a special tooling charge.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Exposure to hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
