As a material, 100S Strip-N-Stick® Silicone is valued for very good compression set resistance across its range, physiological inertness and low toxicity. The compound resists extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and dry heat. It should not be specified for service in hydrocarbon fuels and oils or steam above its rated range.
