The 0284139 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock built to a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm). This o-ring cord stock provides continuous extruded stock for building one-off or oversized rings.

The compound resists water, petroleum-based oils, and many alcohols. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It should not be specified for service in ketones or polar solvents.
