1/4" CARBON YARN WITH I.W. PACKING

This material stands up to elevated temperature and pressure, process media, and shaft wear. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Braided Inconel Wire is specified for dependable service life when correctly adjusted, controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the shaft. Rated for service to approximately 1200°F. Applications involving over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush call for a different compound.

Typical settings include water and process plants, valves and agitators, and centrifugal and reciprocating pumps.
