11700250-01 is a Lubricated PTFE Filament Packing Compression Packing with a 1/4 inch square cross section. In service, this compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. Source specification: 1 LB. Box - Approx. 24 FT.

This material stands up to solvents, nearly all industrial chemicals, and strong acids and bases. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Lubricated PTFE Filament Packing is valued for excellent dielectric properties and a very wide continuous service temperature range. Exposure to service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature will shorten service life.
