Ordered as 11730250-05, this is a TFE Impregnated Non-Asbestos Packing Compression Packing supplied with a 1/4 inch square cross section. The compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. Source specification: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 120 FT.

This material stands up to nearly all industrial chemicals, steam, and oxidizing media. TFE Impregnated Non-Asbestos Packing is known for a very wide continuous service temperature range and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. It should not be specified for service in molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at temperature.
