3/32 X 20' ROLL TEFLON CORD PACKING

APG stocks the 1545093X20, a Teflon® Cord Packing Compression Packing supplied with a 3/32 inch square cross section. A compression packing is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft.

The compound resists strong acids and bases, steam, and oxidizing media. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Teflon® Cord Packing is valued for excellent dielectric properties and a very wide continuous service temperature range. Exposure to elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery will shorten service life.
