0M284B1.5 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock supplied with a cross section of 0.059 in (1.5 mm). In service, this o-ring cord stock supports field repair of oversized or non-standard sealing grooves without a special tooling charge.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for strong abrasion and tear resistance, economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. This material stands up to many alcohols, greases and lubricants, and petroleum-based oils. Exposure to polar solvents or strong acids will shorten service life.
