APG stocks the H1.6X81, a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 81 mm (3.189 in), a cross section of 1.6 mm (0.063 in), and an outside diameter of 84.2 mm (3.31 in). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Expect good resistance to propane and butane, petroleum-based oils, and many alcohols. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones or polar solvents will shorten service life.
