Expect good resistance to fire exposure, most chemicals across the pH range, and very high temperature. Braided Flexible Graphite is widely chosen for exceptional temperature capability well beyond elastomeric materials, excellent thermal conductivity and fire resistance. Exposure to strong oxidizing acids or highly oxidizing service above rated temperature will shorten service life.
