11710125-01 is a Braided Flexible Graphite Compression Packing with a 1/8 inch square cross section. In service, this compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. Source specification: 1 LB. Box - Approx. 100 FT.

Braided Flexible Graphite is known for no aging, hardening or embrittlement over time and conformability that seals imperfect flange faces. This material stands up to very high temperature, fire exposure, and steam. Applications involving highly oxidizing service above rated temperature or strong oxidizing acids call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in steam and heat transfer systems, power generation, and exhaust and flue gas.
