1/8" CARBON YARN WITH I.W. PACKING

The 11820125-05 is a Braided Inconel Wire Compression Packing supplied with a 1/8 inch square cross section. This compression packing is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. Source specification: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 384 FT.

Expect good resistance to elevated temperature and pressure, shaft wear, and process media. Braided Inconel Wire delivers field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking and a braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. Rated for service to approximately 1200°F. Applications involving over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush call for a different compound.
