1/8" GFO GRAPHITE/PTFE PACKING

This compression packing is supplied in G.F.O. Packing supplied with a 1/8 inch square cross section, catalogued under part number 11800125-01. It is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. This item is further identified as 1 LB. Box - Approx. 89 FT.

G.F.O. Packing is specified here for dependable service life when correctly adjusted and field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking. This material stands up to process media, elevated temperature and pressure, and shaft wear. Rated for service to approximately 550°F. It should not be specified for service in over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush.

It sees regular use in centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, water and process plants, and valves and agitators.
