1/8" GFO GRAPHITE/PTFE PACKING

This compression packing is supplied in G.F.O. Packing measuring a 1/8 inch square cross section, catalogued under part number 11800125-05. It is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. The catalog record notes: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 441 FT.

It resists shaft wear, elevated temperature and pressure, and process media. That behavior comes from the compound itself: G.F.O. Packing is specified for dependable service life when correctly adjusted and field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking. Rated for service to approximately 550°F. Verify compatibility before use with over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush.
