1/8" NON-ASBESTOS ARAMID FIBER PACKING

11780125-05 is an Aramid Filament Packing Compression Packing measuring a 1/8 inch square cross section. In service, this compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. Source specification: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 435 FT.

As a material, Aramid Filament Packing is specified for field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking and dependable service life when correctly adjusted. It resists shaft wear, process media, and elevated temperature and pressure. Rated for service to approximately 500°F. Applications involving over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush call for a different compound.
