11740125-05 is a TFE Filament Compression Packing measuring a 1/8 inch square cross section. In service, this compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. Source specification: 5 LB. Box - Approx. 385 FT.

As a material, TFE Filament is widely chosen for a very wide continuous service temperature range and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. The material holds up against steam, solvents, and nearly all industrial chemicals. It should not be specified for service in service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature.
