TFE Filament is specified here for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and very wide continuous service temperature range. The material holds up against oxidizing media, nearly all industrial chemicals, and steam. It should not be specified for service in elemental fluorine at temperature or molten alkali metals.
