Ordered as 0297187, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A square profile O-Ring Cord Stock measuring a cross section of 0.187 in (4.75 mm). The o-ring cord stock provides continuous extruded stock for building one-off or oversized rings.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, chemical processing, and oil and gas.
