Ordered as MOS-020-030-007-SC, this is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Single Case Oil Seal supplied with a 020 inch inside diameter, a 030 inch outside diameter, and a height of 007 inch. The oil seal protects bearings by holding grease or oil in and keeping abrasives out. Source specification: Rubber Covered OD, Single Lip W/ Spring.

Expect good resistance to petroleum-based oils, many alcohols, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) offers an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and low compression set under sustained load. It is not the right choice where strong acids or ozone and direct sunlight are present.
