20 X 40 X 7 FLUOROELASTOMER OIL SEAL

MOSV-020-040-007-TC is a Viton® (FKM) Double Lip with Spring Oil Seal built to a 020 inch inside diameter, a 040 inch outside diameter, and a height of 007 inch. In service, this oil seal retains lubricant inside a housing while excluding dirt, water and contamination from the bearing cavity. This item is further identified as Rubber Covered OD, Double Lip W/ Spring.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. This material stands up to engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam.
