Ordered as TST001, this is an AS568-001 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 0.029 in (0.74 mm), a cross section of 0.04 in (1.02 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.109 in (2.77 mm). The back-up ring installs on the low-pressure side of an o-ring to prevent extrusion into the clearance gap at elevated pressure.

Expect good resistance to oxidizing media, strong acids and bases, and nearly all industrial chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) is specified for one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).
