The TST366 is an AS568-366 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.645 in (194.18 mm). This back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) offers a very wide continuous service temperature range and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. This material stands up to strong acids and bases, nearly all industrial chemicals, and steam. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service.

Common environments for this compound include chemical processing, aggressive-media pipelines, and semiconductor fabrication.
