The TST367 is an AS568-367 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 7.475 in (189.87 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.895 in (200.53 mm). This back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

The material holds up against steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and oxidizing media. PTFE (Teflon) is specified for a very wide continuous service temperature range and excellent dielectric properties. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature are present.

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across aggressive-media pipelines, laboratory equipment, and food and beverage.
