This back-up ring is supplied in AS568-454 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D supplied with an inside diameter of 12.475 in (316.87 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.025 in (330.84 mm), catalogued under part number TST454. It allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.
