This o-ring cord stock is supplied in red Silicone 70 Shore A with a cross section of 0.25 in (6.35 mm), catalogued under part number 0290250. Silicone offers flexibility that holds at very low temperatures, physiological inertness and low toxicity. Expect good resistance to extreme heat and cold, many oxidizing chemicals, and dry heat. It is not the right choice where abrasive dynamic service or hydrocarbon fuels and oils are present.
