This o-ring cord stock is supplied in black Aflas (TFE/P) 75 Shore A with a cross section of 0.25 in (6.35 mm), catalogued under part number 0281250. It provides continuous extruded stock for building one-off or oversized rings.

Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for excellent electrical insulating properties and proven performance in aggressive downhole environments. This material stands up to brake fluids and phosphate esters, amines and corrosion inhibitors, and hot water. It should not be specified for service in low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons.
