This o-ring cord stock is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A built to a cross section of 0.25 in (6.35 mm), catalogued under part number 0283H250. It supports field repair of oversized or non-standard sealing grooves without a special tooling charge.

Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. Verify compatibility before use with hot water and steam or ketones and esters.

Typical settings include automotive fuel systems, semiconductor equipment, and high-temperature process equipment.
