Ordered as 0M284B2.5, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock built to a cross section of 0.098 in (2.49 mm). The o-ring cord stock lets you fabricate a custom-size seal on site by cutting and splicing to the required circumference.

The material holds up against petroleum-based oils, many alcohols, and greases and lubricants. Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs and the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer.
