2.5MM CS X 55MM ID BLACK EPDM 70D

Part number E2.5X55 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 55 mm (2.165 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 60 mm (2.36 in). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

EPDM (EPR) is specified here for strong performance in outdoor and exposed installations, outstanding weather, ozone and sunlight resistance. The compound resists ozone, UV and weathering, dilute acids and alkalis, and brake fluid. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 300°F (148.9°C). It is not the right choice where mineral oil-based lubricants or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.

Typical settings include potable water applications, solar and roofing assemblies, and outdoor equipment.
