Part number H90M2.5X55 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 55 mm (2.165 in), a cross section of 2.5 mm (0.098 in), and an outside diameter of 60 mm (2.36 in). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. It resists water, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C).
