*.275" BRAIDED FLEXIBLE GRAPHITE PACKING

This compression packing is supplied in Braided Flexible Graphite supplied with a.275 inch square cross section, catalogued under part number 11710275-05. It is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft.

As a material, Braided Flexible Graphite is specified for near-zero creep relaxation under load, excellent thermal conductivity and fire resistance. Expect good resistance to steam, very high temperature, and most chemicals across the pH range.
