The V2X175 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 175 mm (6.89 in), a cross section of 2 mm (0.079 in), and an outside diameter of 179 mm (7.05 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, semiconductor equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
