3" DUST CAP BRASS TOUGH-TITE

The 3E30DCBR is a Tough-Tite Brass Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling supplied with a 3 inch nominal size. This cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

The material holds up against moderate pressure, atmospheric exposure, and corrosion in water service. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Brass is valued for non-sparking characteristics valued in some environments and an attractive, durable finish. It should not be specified for service in strong acids or dezincification in aggressive water.
