V3X44.5 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 44.5 mm (1.752 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 50.5 mm (1.99 in). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and engine and transmission fluids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present.

Typical settings include aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and high-temperature process equipment.
