Ordered as V3X149.5, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 149.5 mm (5.886 in), a cross section of 3 mm (0.118 in), and an outside diameter of 155.5 mm (6.12 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. It resists aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, high-temperature process equipment, and oil and gas.
