0297313 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A square profile O-Ring Cord Stock supplied with a cross section of 0.313 in (8 mm). In service, this o-ring cord stock provides continuous extruded stock for building one-off or oversized rings.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists many acids, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Applications involving low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
