Ordered as 0287187, this is a black Neoprene (Chloroprene) 70 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock built to a cross section of 0.187 in (4.75 mm). The o-ring cord stock eliminates long lead times on large-diameter custom rings.

Expect good resistance to mild acids, refrigerants and ammonia, and sunlight and salt spray. Neoprene (Chloroprene) is known for inherent flame-retarding characteristics and dependable general-purpose sealing in exposed installations. It is not the right choice where strong oxidizing acids or aromatic hydrocarbons are present.
