3/16" CARBON YARN WITH I.W. PACKING

The 11820187-05 is a Braided Inconel Wire Compression Packing with a 3/16 inch square cross section. This compression packing is cut into rings and stacked in a stuffing box, then compressed by the gland to seal a rotating or reciprocating shaft. The catalog record notes: 5 LB. The compound resists process media, elevated temperature and pressure, and shaft wear. Braided Inconel Wire is known for controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the shaft, field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking. Rated for service to approximately 1200°F.
