Lubricated PTFE Filament Packing is known for near-universal chemical inertness and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. Expect good resistance to oxidizing media, nearly all industrial chemicals, and strong acids and bases. It should not be specified for service in service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals.
